Cover + Collating all the Pages - W16

The next step to complete the workshop is to get the zine printed. In order to get this done, I'm working with Jim at the Print Bureau who is teaching me each step leading up to the actual printing. I started by collating the finished pages from everybody which ended up being quite easy as the Teams group made it easy to get in contact with everyone. I then worked with Kite, a participant of the workshop, to come up with a design for the cover using some elements from other participants' pages and some leftover scraps that people didn't end up using. Also using the Teams chat another participant suggested making a forward and was able to produce one that everyone agreed upon. I then also had the task of making the back cover myself. This would be the only page I contribute to the zine as there ended up being the perfect number of pages for the printing already. I used a similar method to how the cover was made and collaged some elements from other people's pages into the back cover. We had also agreed as a group, during the sessions, that the back cover would act as a contents page. This was also incorporated into the design and I am happy with how it came out. It has quite a personal touch as each person wrote their own signature down which was something we also did as a part of last year's zine project.

Making the contents using Procreate + the group's signatures.
The finished back page, designed by me, simulated in the colours we will be printing with.
